Kuala Lumpur Airport Train (KLIA Express)
Two train services run from Kuala Lumpur International Airport: KLIA Express and KLIA Transit. For most travelers, the KLIA Express is the faster, more direct option — connecting both KLIA and KLIA2 to KL Sentral in just 28 to 33 minutes. Trains run every 15 minutes during peak hours, and every 20 minutes off-peak and on Saturdays. Onboard 5G WiFi makes the ride even smoother.
KLIA Transit follows the same route but stops at Salak Tinggi, Putrajaya, Bandar Tasik Selatan (TBS), and other suburban stations — useful if you’re staying outside the city center.
Once at KL Sentral, onward travel is easy. The Monorail Line takes you directly to Bukit Bintang, while Bolt is a reliable option for door-to-door service within the city.

Ride-Sharing from KLIA
For ease and convenience, ride-sharing is hard to beat. From Kuala Lumpur International Airport, services like Bolt will take you straight to your accommodation — no transfers, no navigating stations, just door-to-door simplicity.
It’s not the fastest option — the KLIA Express train is quicker — but for travelers with heavy luggage or arriving late at night, it’s often the most practical. Public transport can be tricky with multiple bags, and buses don’t typically run overnight.
Ride-sharing also makes financial sense for groups. Two passengers can travel more cheaply than by train, and four can split the fare for less than the cost of separate bus tickets. For added comfort, premium and luxury ride-sharing options are available, though expect to pay roughly double.
